New Company Launch

bgb created an extraordinary and highly interactive conference experience to launch Halyard Health Asia Pacific, communicating creatively and effectively to a culturally diverse audience in Bangkok, Thailand.

Halyard Health ( formerly Kimberly-Clark Health Care ) was launched as an independent company in late 2014. It is a global medical technology company with 16,500 employees and markets products in more than 100 countries worldwide.

bgb was asked to help with the all-important task of launching this new company in Asia Pacific, by developing a conference experience that united diverse senior sales and marketing teams from Japan, China, India, Singapore, Thailand, Australia and New Zealand. The conference had two key objectives:

  • Launch Halyard Health – who we are, what we stand for, explore the new Values and what they mean to individuals and the consolidated team – with the goal to create team alignment for the new organisation
  • Motivate and inspire the sales team by developing sales skills and product knowledge so that ambitious sales targets can be met

This launch conference was a key event in setting up the new Halyard Health for success in 2015.

bgb developed and created a bespoke experience for every delegate, starting with customised teasers and invites and carrying through to every conference element. The conference experience involved major dance, musical and video production,  with delegates also enjoying a variety of activities inclusive of a “Great Race” across the rivers, roads and major sites of Bangkok. The 2015 sales target was revealed onstage with the assistance of a spectacular, bespoke dance sequence by Thailand’s premiere dance troupe and the elephant mascot.

bgb developed all theming, creative and communications content for the conference opening day, inclusive of writing and visualising numerous executives’ keynote speeches, including that of the Asia Pacific CEO. A conference highlight was the Gala Awards Dinner, which was graced by two elephants providing a unique yet culturally respectful experience.

bgb managed all AV, staging and production services, with onsite filming, editing and production to create an impressive closing cinematic piece reflecting the delegates’ experiences in real time. Simultaneous translation services were provided throughout to ensure all delegates had a meaningful experience.

FOOD MATCHING:

A traditional Thai Style family banquet including dishes such as fish cakes in red curry paste, chicken wings with tamarind sauce, Thai coconut galangal chicken soup and Thai style stir-fried pork with holy basil and chili sauce. This was all washed down with the local Singha Beer, with a side order of Karaoke thrown in.
